In 1983, Shenzhen University was established with the establishment of the General Affairs Department, responsible for the school's logistics affairs. Later renamed as Life Service Headquarters, General Affairs Department, Logistics Department, Logistics Department, etc. In January 2021, the school merged the functions of the Logistics Department and the Infrastructure Department to establish the Logistics Support Department. The Logistics Support Department is fully responsible for the management functions of campus infrastructure, logistics services, and support on behalf of the school.

The Logistics Support Department adheres to the concept of "serving teachers and students, striving for excellence", and integrates "full staff education, full process education, and comprehensive education" into the logistics support work, striving to create "safe logistics, efficient logistics, green logistics, smart logistics, and clean logistics".
